Education & Experience

I earned a B.A. in Psychology from Boston University in 1995 and an M.A. in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies in 2002.

Clinical Experience

Since 2007 I have been in a private practice setting, providing individual psychotherapy for adults, teenagers, and children. I am a clinical member of A Home Within, an organization that provides ongoing psychotherapy for youth involved in the foster care system.  I am a clinical supervisor for the California Institute of Integral Studies.   I attend ongoing individual and group consultations led by senior clinicians in the community.

I have worked in the mental health field in varying capacities since 1996.  From 2005-2007, I was Director of the Adult Day Program at Full Spectrum Progressive Mental Health.  As Director I helped develop and implement a highly innovative intensive day program that specialized in providing holistic, depth-oriented interventions for adults suffering from severe emotional distress.   Previous experience has also included working with adults and teens in a variety of settings, as well as working with homeless families and children recovering from developmental trauma.
